Popping out of the
powder fog,
all in white but the
eyes
tainted in a killer
red,
came to drag us all down to Hell.
all our fellas in the
muddy bar
with an unloaded book
in his hand,
like if in a baby
face feast
or amidst the
audience of
a Methodist temple.
