•    INCREASE IN AIR TEMPERATURE: 0.06ºC/year (i.e., 3ºC in 50 years)
•    INCREASE IN SEA SURF. WATER TEMPERATURE: 0.034ºC/year (i.e., 1.7ºC in 50 years)
•    INCREASE IN DURATION OF THE SUMMER: the summer begins half a day earlier and ends half a day later per year, and thus it is one day longer per year (in Spain, the duration/length of the summer has increased from 90 to 145 days, i.e., 55 days, in 50 years)
•    INCREASE IN number of days in which the sea surface water is cooler than the air: this is critical as it makes it more difficult for water to evaporate and thus the rainfall decreases
•    INCREASE IN SEA LEVEL: 0.50 cm/year (i.e., 25 cm in 50 years) [1–3]
